Welcome to Deprived Creative

Welcome to Deprived Creative — a storytelling studio. We craft narratives that reveal purpose through struggle and meaning through loss. Our mission is to tell stories that move people toward reflection, reminding audiences that hope endures even in scarcity. At the heart of our vision is a deep commitment to stories that uplift and inspire. Each project we create explores the redemptive arc of transformation. We believe that through story, what was deprived can come alive again.

Deprived

A lack or absence of something essential, such as resources, comfort, or opportunities. It can evoke feelings of scarcity, loss, and need, whether in a physical, emotional, or creative context. It often suggests a struggle or hardship, highlighting the contrast between what is missing and what is desired.

Creative

The ability to generate abundance from limitations, transforming what is lacking into something new and valuable. Creativity thrives on possibility, adaptability, and innovation — turning scarcity into opportunity, loss into growth, and challenges into triumphs. It's about seeing potential where others might see voids and using what's at hand to craft something meaningful.

Statement

As a storyteller, I'm drawn to stories that feel lived-in, like something you'd hear sitting around a campfire or passed down through generations. Stories that don't just entertain, but stay with you because they feel true.

So Many Hours Until Now

Official Poster

When a cursed family heirloom resurfaces, granting wishes at the cost of another's life, a grieving son must protect his siblings before greed, debt, and jealousy rip them apart.

Desire takes hold and with it, a cost. The real danger isn't what you want, but what you're willing to sacrifice for it.

Pulled back home, Shawn Joe is forced to confront a past that never left him. As buried choices resurface and new ones take shape, desire begins to guide every decision until the consequences can no longer be ignored.

So Many Hours Until Now came from a simple question: what are we willing to sacrifice to get what we want? Not in theory, but in the quiet, personal decisions we justify every day. I was less interested in the object itself and more interested in the human condition — how desire can slowly shape our choices until we no longer recognize the cost.

Through Deprived Creative, my goal is to help bring stories from a deprived place into a creative one, reviving passions, confronting truth, and creating space for honest reflection. This film is an extension of that mission.

At its core, this is a story about consequence. About how the things we chase can ultimately define us, and how sometimes the greatest danger isn't what we're given, but what we're willing to give up in return.
